Gökçenur Ç.
Gökçenur Ç. was born in Istanbul in 1971 and still lives there. He has six poetry books and has translated selected poetry books of Wallace Stevens, Paul Auster, Ursula K. Leguin. He has participated and organized poetry translation workshops and festivals in many countries. His poems have been translated into 25 languages and published in magazines and anthologies. His selected poetry was published in Italy and Serbia. In the Lettres Capitales Project of Eurepean Capital of Culture Marseille 2012, his book in hand writing has been prepared and published in French and Turkish as a single exhibition copy. Gökçenur Ç. is the prime mover and co-director of Word Express (www.word-express.org). He is also one of the founders and board members of Delta International Cultural Interactions Association. He is a member of the international committee of Voix de la Méditerranée Festival in Lodeve, France and also a member of the editorial board of Macedonian based international literary magazine Blesok.
